South Beach Marketing Council - Kevin Crowder and Lina Duque worked on multiple projects for the South Beach Marketing Council in the mid 1990s, promoting South Beach as a destination to new markets. This included a $1 million partnership with Visa for a South Beach Prefers Visa Program, and the iconic “A Week In South Beach” publication. Print media, television, video, and online channels were utilized for successful promotion. During this time annual visitors to South Bedch grew from just over 3 million to more than 7 million visitors from 1993 to 1998.
Washington Avenue Business Improvement District - Ms. Duque designed a marketing program to drive customers (locals and visitors) to Washington Avenue. This campaign included the development of the identity and brand package, with television advertising, airplane banners, street pole banners, and print media. The campaign, “Party, Shop, Dine, and Meet Me on the Avenue” was well received and not only attracted customers, it attracted new businesses to the area as well.
